Bowl-a-thons Annually, the SBA of AL hosts bowl-a-thons across the state in order to raise funding and awareness of Spina Bifida and its prevention. These bowl-a-thons also provide a wonderful opportunity for families affected by Spina Bifida to make connections. Five member bowling teams join together to help raise funding, awareness, and to have a great time bowling together! Bowl-a-thons are held in Birmingham, Huntsville, Gadsden and South Alabama. If you are interested in hosting a bowl-a-thon in your area, please contact us!

Family Connections Our Association believes that when a family is affected by Spina Bifida, one of their most important resources for information and support are other families affected by this birth defect. For this reason, we strive to provide opportunities for families to meet one another in a casual and fun environment. This summer, we will be hosting several statewide Family Connections picnics. If you are interested in attending or hosting a Family Connections event in your area, please contact one of our staff. |
